For so many of us, hitting 40 can feel like a significant moment in our lives. You start to reflect on your life and become more in tune with your purpose, self-awareness, and strengths. Through this project, I want to start a conversation around the beauty of ageing and change how the world defines us. I want to tell your story and what it means to you to be a woman over 40 in today's world.

Turning 40 this year has inspired me to step into my power and celebrate my journey throughout the years. I want to honor the beauty of ageing and the growth and self-love it brings. Through my lens I want you, the 40,50,60+ woman, to see yourself in a whole new light and empower you to live your best life.

The "40 over 40" Experience includes:

Design Consultation

Ahead of the photoshoot, we will meet to discuss all the details involved for your photoshoot including wardrobe, hair & make-up, what to bring, how to prepare and everything else you’ll need to know about your special day.

On the day of the photoshoot, our professional hair & makeup artist will make you look and feel absolutely amazing. We’ll consult with you on how you wish to wear your hair and makeup, and she will be there the entire shoot for any additional touch-ups.

Professional Photoshoot

A fully guided photoshoot with multiple wardrobe changes. Your entire portrait experience including hair and makeup will take 4 hours. Don't worry if you don't know how to pose, you are in good hands! I will direct you every step of the way so you won’t need to worry about a thing. It's my job is to help you feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.

Within 2 weeks I will present your photos to choose your complementary portrait. If you wish you can buy more. What you purchase is entirely up to you. All portraits come in 20x30cm print with matching digital files.

Sit back and relax while you get your hair and make-up done. I’ll be guiding you through your shoot every step of the way so you won’t need to worry about a thing. It is my job to make you feel comfortable.
